In my role as a faculty development and training specialist, I accomplished the following:
expanded best practices in course development design across faculty, courses and curricula, categorized as:
• preparation to develop and time commitment
• content organization
• course instructions
• design of interaction for student-to-student, student-to-instructor, and student-to-content
• developing activities and assessment
• technical assistance
note: these best practices are used in all three course delivery formats, face-to-face, blended, and fully online instruction.
