In my role as course developer I accomplished the following:

provided web-enhanced, hybrid and fully online course development support to faculty, university-wide

facilitated faculty training sessions and workshops that led to successful course design and delivery for the innovative teacher, in both face-to-face and online formats

developed and taught two faculty training courses
• introduction to basic skills of teaching with technology and collaborating in the electronic learning environment
• introduction to using the message of a school’s mission to guide and organize instructional materials and pedagogical strategies to reflect on the importance of core values for students

created and administered procedures for course development that emphasized best practices and included guidelines for time commitment, content organization, and expectations for designing courses in the electronic learning environment

collaborated with department leadership on a plan for training offerings for faculty and staff

participated in the learning assessment of online programs and led efforts with program directors to develop a response for the Middle States Commission of Higher Education for the evaluation of distance education report
